The Corporate Development Manager's role will be to identify and develop
strategic corporate development opportunities that are both external and
organic consistent with management goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Assists in the development of business plans to achieve specific goals
and objectives
• Provides economic analysis, performs studies and provides counsel to
management on relevant matters pertaining to the financial impact of
current and/or new business
• Identify, research, analyze and value potential acquisitions, joint
ventures and investments
• Perform acquisition due diligence
• Analyze industry dynamics and the competitive landscape
• Analyze company SEC filings, Wall Street research and market reports
• Evaluates the capacity of the company to meet objectives in terms of
finance
• Develops proposals for making expenditures to ensure economic
feasibility and compatibility with corporate objectives
• Seek out and assessing outside opportunities
• Assists senior executives and corporate functions in identifying new
alliances, product, services, and joint strategic alliances in the global
economy
• Performs the necessary evaluations to support senior management in
presenting the economic evaluation of proposed and existing business
ventures
Requirements:
• Ability to possess all confidential data relevant to the present and future
operations of the organization
• BA/BS, combined with an Advanced Degree from a nationally
recognized business school
• 7+ years of relevant business experience from similar businesses and
industries, including global manufacturing and sales organizations.
• Demonstrated skills in a strategic planning function
• Highly organized and methodical in developing and presenting complex
financial analysis
• Ability to plan and organize ideas, strategies and communications on
relevant business opportunities and services
• Experienced in sourcing and developing strategic alliances, JV,
partnerships, and relevant strategies and successes
• Ability to deliver results producing successful business initiatives
requiring multiple solutions to be combined to enhance diversification
of the business portfolio while minimizing the conflicts in competing
interests
• Experience in supporting the goals and objectives of the business
development and strategic planning functions
