Key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Prepare U.S. international tax returns (e.g., Forms 5471, 8865, 1118, etc.),
information statements, elections and disclosures requiring complex analysis of
U.S. international tax laws and regulations.
2. Calculate and/or monitor foreign source income, expense allocations,
reporting requirements and taxable inclusions for foreign disregarded entities,
and prepare appropriate tax return disclosures.
3. Conduct tax research related to assigned tax compliance projects.
Summarize facts and conclusions of research in memo and/or procedure.
4. Assist with US and foreign tax accounting matters, FIN 48 analysis, foreign
tax package analysis and APB 23 analysis.
5. Assist with transfer pricing analysis including assisting with annual Cost
Center Survey and with annual US / Canada contemporaneous documentation
requirements
6. Assist with IRS large case audit responses and with the management of
local country tax audits.
7. Assist with quantitative modeling of forecasted worldwide effective tax
rate by collaborating with Financial Planning group to build interactive model.
Requirements:
*Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Master's Degree in Tax, JD or MBA
preferred.
*A minimum of 3 years of tax/accounting experience in a Big 4 accounting firm,
law firm or Fortune 500 multi-national corporation required.
